Letters from a Loving Father Pt. 4

My Precious Sheep,

How are you today? Are you feeling weary? I am still with you on this journey. I have never left. I have been closer than a brother. I’ve relished in your triumphs and wept in your defeat. Thank you for listening to my calling and following me. I know that it must be very draining at times but I am here for you. I will give you the strength that you need. Are you at peace? Is there something burdening your heart? Something that you can’t seem to let go of? Let go of it. Let me mend your wounds. I don’t play hide-and-seek from you. I am not remote. I am here and I can untangle you from the snares that enslave your life. I want to give you my peace and give it to you abundantly.

I am loving toward each of my flock; I love you for your unique inner beauty and strength. I will answer you before you ask for I know the tremblings of your very heart. I will quiet you and give you the rest that you need. I will protect you from the evil predator that looks to devour and destroy. Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

I will tend to your every need. I know what you need before you even ask. Place your trust in me for my rod and my staff will comfort you. I would leave ninety-nine behind to come and find you. You are precious in my sight. My beautiful little sheep, find rest, sleep and know that I’m tending to every burden every care. I deeply love you.

Your Shepherd,
Jehovah

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he seeks and finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, you know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”
Matthew 7: 7-11

About Me

My photo
I'm a Christian who loves Christ with all her heart. I love to laugh, I love to cry (sometimes), I love to feel deeply. I want the road bendy & the windows rolled down. I want all the wick & wax gone. I want to live with reckless abandon. I want to have deep, authentic intimacy with others. My hope and prayer is that I will effect & be effected. This journey is my own!
